Job description:
Overall Job Purpose:
To carry out day to day hauling operations of Enterprise Nickel Mine by upholding high standards of safety in accordance with company policies and production of quality product.

Specific Job Responsibilities:
• Safety of all activities carried out within operating site both by FQM Trident and Contractors on site (PPE).
• Ensure the KPIs are achieved in the assigned sections.
• Ensure that Nickel ore is delivered to the Nickel plant in a safe and timely manner.
• Ensure that the truck is driven to the condition of the road and stipulated speed limits are observed at all times.
• Control the operational activities in the assigned area of operation.
• Ensure the Mobile equipment in the area adheres to standard operating procedures.
• Analyse and report defects to supervisor / maintenance.
• Ensure good work environment (good housekeeping) and clean machine all the time.

Job Specific Competencies:
• Effective communicator.
• Have Knowledge of mobile machine and Hauling operations.

Experience required to perform in this job:
• The Driver should have basic mechanics knowledge about the trucks.
• Minimum of Two (2) years working experience with trucks.

Qualifications:
• Minimum Grade 12 School Certificate.
• Valid Class CE Driver’s License.
