JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
• The Environmental Safeguards Specialist will be the lead expert on all Project Environmental Safeguard issues in accordance with Government policies/guidelines and World Bank policies/guidelines. S/he will be responsible for monitoring environmental risks already identified and
identifying emerging risks. Working in liaison with other PMU members, the Environmental Safeguards Specialist will provide technical support to the Program on environmental risk management.
