JOB DETAILS:
Job description
Zenotech Computers♦ is seeking an experienced and motivated IT Engineer to provide hands-on support for server equipment installation and basic configurations in Kitwe, Zambia. If you’re passionate about IT and enjoy hands-on problem-solving, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Job Location:
Kitwe, Zambia

Job Responsibilities:
• Racking, in-rack cabling, and cable patching of devices
• Removal, installation, and configuration of field replaceable units (FRUs)
• Testing media for continuity and proper signaling
• Providing visual verification to assist in remote troubleshooting
• Offering onsite/offsite technical assistance and troubleshooting as needed

Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong hands-on experience in server equipment support
• Ability to assist with basic server configurations
• Proficient in both English and the local language(s)
• Ability to work in a 24×7 support environment
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Duration of the Project: 1 Year
• Support Type: 24×7, rotating shifts
