JOB DETAILS:
Job Category: Senior Staff
To study the composition, structure, and the physical attributes of the earth, which includes
rocks and minerals in order to identify and assess, quantity and quality of mineral deposits.

Key Responsibilities
The role will include but not be limited to the following responsibilities;
• To ensure planning of programmes for exploration of sites for, water, minerals, etc
• Collects and records samples and data from test sites for grade control and stockpile
management process.
• Initiates new methods and policies to optimize performance and ensures adherence
to mining industry safety and organizational standards
• Analyses geological data using specialist computer applications to ascertain
extraction, risks and formulates a proper mining as well as operation standard
regulations and procedures
• Prepares reports and updates technical reports and relevant documents to ensure
compliance with mining statutory and operational requirements

Qualification & Requirements
• Grade 12 certificate
• Degree in Geology/ Geophysics or its equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Paid up Member of EIZ

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
