Role Description
• This is a full-time on-site role as a Head Chef located in Ndola at the Gloria Inn Hotel Zambia Limited. The Head Chef will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the kitchen staff and ensuring that food is prepared to the hotel’s standards. The Head Chef will also be responsible for monitoring food and labor costs, as well as for maintaining inventory levels. Additionally, the Head Chef will create menus, prepare food orders, and maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment.

Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef
• Strong knowledge of food, culinary trends, cuisines and food service industry practices
• Excellent management, leadership, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop menus and execute dishes to the highest standard
• Strong understanding of kitchen health and safety regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Bachelor’s degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role is required
