• Job Description: Heavy Duty Mechanic – Engine Specialist
• Main duties – Engine Rebuilding, Engine Servicing, Fault Diagnosing, and troubleshooting.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Engine Diagnosis: Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify issues with heavy-duty engines using standard tools and industry knowledge.
• Repair and Maintenance: Execute repairs and scheduled maintenance on heavy-duty engines to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.
• Component Replacement: Replace worn-out or faulty components within engines, adhering to industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Testing and Quality Control: Conduct rigorous testing post-repair to validate the effectiveness of the work and ensure safety compliance.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of diagnostic findings, repairs, and maintenance activities for reference and future analysis.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow mechanics and team members to address complex engine issues and streamline repair processes.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Technical Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of heavy-duty engine systems, components, and diagnostics.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to efficiently address and resolve engine-related issues.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting and manoeuvring heavy engine components.
• Attention to Detail: Pay meticulous attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and thoroughness of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Communication Skills: Effectively communicate technical information and findings to team members and stakeholders with varying levels of technical understanding.
• Certifications: Minimum – Craft Certificate in Heavy Duty Repair.
