JOB DETAILS:
The Role
You will be responsible for standard maintenance, repairing, inspecting, and commissioning service projects, taking client and Sandvik context and requirements into account. You should have a strong customer focus in approach to execution, be able to work unsupervised in the Workshop and/or at the customer site.

Area of Responsibility
• Maintain products and equipment at customer site or own premises independently.
• Operate equipment and explain the functionality of hydraulic and electric systems to junior service technicians or customers.
• Identify components, explain basic functionality, and conduct maintenance and repair work accordingly.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to identify problems.
• Provide preventive and cost-efficient repairs.
• Download control system data and upgrade software, under supervision.

Your Profile
• Advanced Certificate/Diploma in Engineering with 4 years’ relevant experience in surface or underground mining or a Technicians Trade Certificate with 6 years’ experience in surface mining or underground
• Experience in maintaining Sandvik Equipment.
• Medical Certification to work in a mining environment
• Engineering Institute of Zambia Membership
• Ability to work under minimum supervision
• Troubleshooting skills
• Team player
• Strong customer focus
