JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary;
• Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires. Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors. Perform repairs to manufacturer and customer specifications.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Inspect machine/ equipment engine, transmission, defferentials, and final drives.
• Inspect mechanical and electrical components mobile equipment
Diagnose issues timely and accurately.
• Inspect machine/ equipment computer and electronic systems.
• Conduct regular maintenance work such as replacing fluids, lubricating parts and clean equipment parts or tools to repair or maintain good working order.
• Schedule future maintenance sessions and conduct routine maintenance works.
• Inspect frontend loaders, mobile cranes, tractors, light vehicles and folk lifts to diagnose issues accurately.
• Clean equipment parts or tools to repair or maintain good working order and keep the working environment clean.

Key Requirements
Education and Work Experience.
• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Craft Certificate in Heavy Equipment Repair or related field e.g. bulldozer/crane.
• Driving License.
• Valid Silicosis Certificate.

Skills and Competencies.
• Outstanding manual dexterity with excellent hand-eye coordination.
• A sound understanding of pertinent safety guidelines.
• Ability to provide and follow directions.
• Sharp decision-making skills.
• The ability to work under pressure.
