JOB DETAILS:
In line with our corporate priorities aimed at ensuring optimization of revenue collection and increased tax compliance on one hand and the need to effectively manage the numerous challenges and opportunities in the fast-changing business environment on the other, we are seeking highly motivated, result-oriented, well-qualified and experienced professionals to fill the following vacant positions:
51.0 HUMAN RESOURCE ASSISTANT-ER, GRADE ZRA07 (1 POSITION) – HUMAN RESOURCE DEPARTMENT
A. PURPOSE
Reporting directly to the Human Resource Officer-Employee Relations (ER). The job holder will assist the Human Resource Officer – Employee Relations in supporting human resource processes such as administration of discipline, employee wellness and provision of general human resource services and administrative support to Human Resource team.
B. MAIN DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Assist in scheduling disciplinary meetings and Human Resource events and maintains agendas;
• Preparing documents for Disciplinary Hearings;
• Updating and tracks records of cases received in Human Resource until the time they are concluded;
• Maintaining the database for employees on suspensions and monitors the same to ensure that suspensions are lifted within the stipulated time;
• Helping stakeholders in the use of the Disciplinary Case Management System;
• Filing all medical bills;
• Monitoring employees on prolonged sick leave and updates management on the same;
• Participating in wellness activities and encourages other employees to engage in wellness activities;
• Producing and submits reports on general Human Resource activities; and
• Giving administrative support to all Units in Human Resource Department.
C. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Grade 12 Certificate or its equivalent;
• Minimum of Diploma in Human Resource Management or any equivalent related field;
• Minimum 1 year and 6 months relevant post qualifying work experience in Human Resource function;
• Must have valid Membership to the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM); and
• Must have worked in their current grade for a minimum of one year six months.
