Job Title: Internal Auditor
Under the supervision of the Audit Manager, below are the Key Job Responsibilities;
• Execution of audits as per the audit plan, as well as advisory reviews, in order to ensure that processes and systems comply with company policies and procedures as well as statutory and regulatory policies covering processes and controls for business units;
• Ensure the OpCo is compliant with regulatory requirements;
• Serve as an active member of the audit team directly executing medium/high priority/risk internal audits: through conducting interviews, data and system analysis and testing, preparing database updates, providing status reports and preparing final audit reports on assignments carried out, in line with internal audit standards and methodologies;
• Provide analysis on internal audit data, identifying weaknesses in internal controls, risks areas and trends, and reporting these to management, with recommendations on possible mitigations and enhancements;
• Assist in compiling final internal audit reports for management review;
• Measure/evaluate compliance to statutory and regulatory requirements and the company’s policies and procedures;
• Any other responsibilities or tasks as maybe assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements
• Grade 12 Certificate with at least five credits, including English and Mathematics (compulsory).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Audit, or Finance (minimum of 3 years).
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a business environment, preferably within internal or external auditing.
• Professional qualification in Information Systems Auditing or CIA certification will be an added advantage
