INVITATION TO SUBMIT EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
LEASE AND DEVELOPMENT OF COUNCIL LAND
Mumbwa Town Council is a Local Authority duly established under the Local Government Act Number 2 of 2019 invites the expression of interest from developers for the lease and development of a shopping mall at the Plot No.192 measuring approximately 2.1 Acres located at four ways traffic circle in Mumbwa.
The applicants are required to purchase an application form from the Cashier at the Mumbwa Town Council revenue hall at a non-refundable fee of K10, 000.00 only.
Evaluation criteria shall include,
• A properly filled application form obtained from Mumbwa Town Council
• Proof of purchase of application form (s) (attach receipt (s)).
• Attached copies of Certificates of Registration /Incorporation for companies. National Registration Card for individuals.
• Attached valid copies of Tax Clearance with ZRA, if the Company is not yet registered in Zambia or where the Company or where the respondent, Relevant organization, Key contractor or designated member is not yet operating in Zambia proof of "good standing" with the relevant taxation authority in its country of origin.
• Demonstrate project experience in land development with a minimum of five (5) years of managing of such projects.
Construction experience on Eligible Projects in the development of Commercial Facilities for a minimum of five (5) years' experience.
The applicants will be required to demonstrate their financial capability by attaching three months latest bank statements or Letter of credit from recognized institution and or any verifiable evidence of financial standing to develop and manage the shopping mall.
A site visit will be conducted on 14 June, 2024, starting at 10:00 hours. Interested developers are expected to gather at Mumbwa Town Council Civic Centre, office of the Director of Engineering Services who will coordinate the site visit.
Expression of interest for the "LEASE OF SHOPPING MALL" must be deposited in the tender box in Room 2, Civic Centre situated along Independence Road PO Box 830001 Mumbwa, on or before Friday,21 June, 2024 at 10:00hrs.
