1. Akshaya Investment Ltd in the 2023 budget has reserved some funding for the procurement of Grain Shelling and Grain Sorting Machines

2. Akshaya Investment Ltd now invites for the sealed Bids from reputable eligible Bidders (Companies and Organizations) domiciled in Zambia or other Countries to participate in the procurement and delivery of the Machine to the specific location as detailed in the Bidding Document.

3. The Bidding will be conducted through the Open National Bid as specified in the public procurement Act No. 8 of 2020 and Public Procurement Regulations of 2022 using preferential Schemes in accordance to the procurement policies. Detailed qualifications requirements are provided in the bidding document provided.

4. The bids must be clearly marked as indicated in the table below and addressed to: the procurement committee, AKSHAYA IVESTMENT LTD, PLOT 9542, OFF KATANGRA ROAD CHINIKA INDUSTRIAL AREA LUSAKA ZAMBIA.

5. Interested Bidders may obtain further information in writing from the procurement unit, Akshaya Investment Ltd PLOT 9542, OFF KATANGRA ROAD CHINIKA INDUSTRIAL AREA LUSAKA ZAMBIA before the deadline of submission of Bids

6. Bidders must submit one (1) original bidding documents plus two (2) copies labeled and enclosed in envelopes labeled with lot number and the name project.

7. Complete bidding documents must be sent to the following email address ananiab@yahoo.com or be deposited in the tender box which will be placed at Akshaya Investment ltd offices on PLOT 9542, OFF KATANGRA ROAD CHINIKA INDUSTRIAL AREA LUSAKA ZAMBIA on or before December 27th, 2023 by close of business. Any bid that shall be deposited after the deadline shall be rendered invalid.

8. All bidders / companies shall submit the following documents together with their Bids: 

1. Certificate of incorporation
2. ZRA clearance certificate
3. Power of attorney
4. Letter of bid signed by the authorized person
5. The bidder must indicate the duration for the delivery of good and services
6. The Bid Validity must be indicated
7. The bid must be signed by the authorized person
