JOB DETAILS:
1.0 Job Purpose
To supervise and undertake the preparation of corporate budgets, financial statements and management accounts in order to facilitate decision making.

2.0 Job Accountabilities
• To effectively supervise and undertake the preparation of financial reports and statements in order to provide information to stakeholders and comply with statutory requirements.
• To supervise and undertake timely preparation and monitoring of the corporate budget in order to control costs and facilitate achievement of corporate objectives.
• To undertake timely preparation of management accounts in order to provide information for management control and facilitate decision making.
• To undertake timely engagement with external auditors and provision of financial statements in order to facilitate for effective auditing.
• To effectively undertake the maintenance of the general ledger accounts in order to ensure accurate and up to date financial information for the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• To undertake to effectively monitor and evaluate staff performance as prescribed by the performance management systems in order to ensure attainment of objectives.
• To effectively supervise the utilization of human, financial and material resources in order to ensure attainment of departmental objectives.

3.0 Qualifications and Experience
• Full grade twelve certificate with at least credits in five (05) ‘O’ levels including Mathematics and English
• Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting/Full ACCA /CIMA/CA – Zambia or equivalent
• Two (02) years working experience
• Member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants

4.0 Skills, Knowledge and Other Attributes
• Must have excellent supervisory, problem solving, negotiation and analytical skills;
• Must be proficient in Accounting (ERP) and Payroll Packages;
• Must be proficient in International Financial Reporting Standards/IAS/GAAP
• Must have knowledge in Financial Modelling.
• Excellent interpersonal communication at all levels (verbal and written).
