Konkola Copper Mines Plc (KCM Ple), is one of the largest copper producers in Zambia. It operates underground and open pit mines located at Nchanga and Konkola. To support this vision KCM would like to recruit an experienced and qualified individual for the following positions in the Trust Schools.

1. SUBJECT TEACHER-PHYSICS X1
Main roles & responsibilities:
To teach grades 8 to 12 classes.
• Set up teaching plans, teach and achieve 100% pass rate
⚫ Interpret the syllabus correctly and prepare schemes of work.
⚫ Deliver the highest standard of education and ensure quality lesson delivery.
Preparation of progress reports.
Relate with parents and staff over learners' progress
•Ensure protection and Safety of all learners.
Carry out any other duties assigned by the school administration.

Requirements and skills
• Must be a Degree holder from recognized University (Minimum Bachelor of Science with Education)
* Must have at least (3) years' experience teaching at Secondary school level
• Experience in teaching A Level is an added advantage
• Must be computer literate
• Must have a creative and innovative mind
Ready to work long hours
• Must be registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia and must have a valid Teaching license.

2. SPECIAL EDUCATION NEEDS (SEN) TEACHERS X 2
Main roles & responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students' special educational needs.
⚫ Set specific, measurable goals based on students' needs and abilities.
• Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
⚫ Monitor and document progress towards IEP goals.
Deliver tailored instruction that meets the diverse needs of students.
• Implement appropriate accommodations and modifications in the classroom for children with special needs.
• Work closely with class teachers to support the integration of students with SEN in mainstream classes.
• Manage student behavior effectively, implementing behavior intervention plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and external agencies to provide comprehensive support.
⚫ Attend and contribute to team meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' progress, interventions, and outcomes. Prepare reports for parents, school administration, and external agencies as required.
Ensure compliance with legal and educational regulations regarding SEN
Requirements and skills

Grade 12 school certificate
• Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or Equivalent
⚫ Full registration with TCZ licensure
Minimum (3) years' working experience
• Excellent oral & written skills
⚫ Computer Literate
⚫ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
⚫ Passion for creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting
⚫ Computer Literate

3. SECONDARY SCHOOL GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING TEACHERS X 2
Main roles & responsibilities:
• Developing and implementing all-encompassing educational and counseling plan
⚫ Fostering equal opportunity practices and encourage students' association
Paying attention to cultural or societal differences in dealing with students
• Conduct group or individual counseling sessions to assist students with problems or concer
⚫ Assess students' attributes and help them realize their strengths
⚫ Evaluate the progress of students and reinforce the sense of accomplishment
• Provide advocacy for student safety
• Identify behavioral problems or at-risk students and act appropriately
• Cooperate with parents and teachers as well as other interested parties
⚫ Complete assessment and tests, analyze results and provide feedback Study and update students records
• Prepare and present reviews on progress
Organize career awareness programs

Requirements and skills
Proven experience as a Guidance Counselor or Teacher
Bachelor's Degree in guidance Counseling or Education with guidance counseling credentials,
• Minimum Three (3) years' experience in Guidance and Counseling
⚫ Integrity and professionalism
•Ability to operate with wide range of student personalities and backgrounds
⚫ Education in various models of teaching, best counseling practices and regulations will be added advantage
Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence abilities
Basic knowledge of computers
⚫ Registered and possess the TCZ Teaching License
