JOB DETAILS:
• Our client is a well-established international group with a global brand which specialises in the sale of heavy-duty machinery. They are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Operations Manager (OM) based in Zambia.
• The candidate will be responsible for leading and managing daily operations to achieve business goals and maximise profitability. This multifaceted position requires the OM to develop and implement strategic plans, manage budgets and ensure all functions under his/her supervision adhere to company policies and standards. The OM will focus on achieving organizational excellence, enhancing customer experience and ensuring the organisations long term success.

Candidate Requirements
• 8 Years or more, relevant experience
• Experience in customer support at management level
• Site management experience
• Advanced knowledge of Human Capital Strategy, Talent Management and various People related legislation, i.e. Labour Relations.
• Support Procurement strategy and build strong partnerships with vendors
• Execute Operations business planning and budgeting processing.
• Strong analytical skills, good judgement and decision making, strategic and senior leadership
Skills
• Conflict management, partnership management, strategic leadership and business acumen
• HR methodologies, financial acumen, systems and process knowledge.
