JOB DETAILS:
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out all duties associated with Grader operations in the mining department.
Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
• Work on haul road construction and maintenance projects
• Conduct clean-up works and other critical operations as required in haul roads and mine dump areas.
• Maintain efficient and safe operational status of the machine by conducting prestart checks daily.
• Operate the machine in a manner that will not result in undue or unnecessary equipment breakdown.
• Report all defects on the Machine to the maintenance and dispatch section.

To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:
• Full Grade 12 School Certificate.
• Must be certified to operate a CAT16M, 24 or a Komatsu GD825 Grader.
• Must have sound Knowledge of safe working procedures and mine operations.
• Should be able to pass Psychometric/ Dover Test.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role .
