JOB DETAILS:
Zambian Hearts Community Development trust is looking for 5 Volunteers to be trained as life gardeners and trainers:

Suggested Characteristics to ‘look for’:
• Self-drive and organized
• Must have good communication skills and be comfortable with public speaking
• Fluent in English
• Ability to use a smartphone, WhatsApp and Facebook
• Should be able to plan, lead and organize community projects and their members
• Ability to understand and explain the Growing Health 20 Topics
• Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
• Able to train both in the field and in seminars (5-Day Workshops)
• Should have computer skills
• Ability to take initiative and work without constant supervision
• Good people skills
• Ability to travel and adapt
• Ability to work cross-culturally
• Gardening means a lot of digging, planting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and a lot of physical work as a whole. The GH champion must be active and full of energy.
• Lead by example – the GH champion must encourage healthy habits by living them out him/herself
• Previous farming experience is nice to have but not a prerequisite
