JOB DETAILS:
Responsibilities
1. Install and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, fittings, and appliances, in accordance with project specifications and plumbing codes.
2. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and configuration of plumbing systems.
3. Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools such as pipe cutters, wrenches, and soldering equipment.
4. Install and connect water supply lines, drainage systems, and gas lines, ensuring proper alignment, support, and sealing.
5. Inspect plumbing systems and fixtures to identify and diagnose issues, such as leaks, blockages, or malfunctioning components.
6. Repair or replace damaged or defective pipes, fixtures, valves, and fittings using appropriate materials and techniques.
7. Test plumbing systems for leaks and pressure, and perform adjustments or repairs as needed to ensure proper functionality.
8. Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as architects, engineers, and contractors, to coordinate plumbing installations and renovations.
9. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, labor hours, and project expenses.
10. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards while performing plumbing work.

Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program or vocational training in plumbing.
3. Valid plumber’s license or certification as required by state or local regulations.
4. Proven experience as a plumber, with a strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and techniques.
5. Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
6. Excellent manual dexterity and mechanical skills.
7. Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with strong problem-solving abilities.
8. Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks such as lifting heavy pipes and equipment, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods.
9. Strong communication and customer service skills.
10. Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with pipefitting, welding, or other related trades.
2. Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings as required by employers or regulatory agencies.
