Job Opportunities
The Italian School of Lusaka is a private school registered under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Zambia. The school offers high international standards in academics, sports and other extracurricular activities to its multinational, multicultural, multiracial students in Zambia. The school is a Cambridge International Centre, Duke of Edinburgh international Award Zambia Unit, and a Member of the Independent Schools Association of Zambia (ISA). In order to enhance service delivery and achieve its quest of meeting the highest international standards in education, the Italian School of Lusaka intends to fill the vacant position indicated below:

Job Purpose
To assist the operations department in facilitating procurement processes and ensuring that purchased items are both cost-efficient and of high quality.
1. Vendor supplier management
Assist to researching and evaluating prospective suppliers, create and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers. Updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges and regular review of supply contracts in line with policy guide.
2. Data keeping
Collecting of appropriate documentation and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records. Maintaining of inventory records.
3. Inventory control management
Monitoring of inventory reorder level. Reconciling of purchase orders with goods received, ensure that the products and supplies meet quality standards.
4. Planning and Budgeting
Assist in preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies. Assist in preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports
5. Delegated duties
Includes additional administrative duties as required by the management team.

1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
2. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
3. Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
4. Supervisory and management experience.
5. Attention to detail.
