The position is responsible for purchase of goods and services for the company in the best value and financial interests of the company, in line with policies and procedures.

Position
As a Procurement Specialist, you will
• Ensure effective supplier relationship management throughout the supply chain and sustainability of supply.
• Optimize Local supplier base and manage SRM within scope of operations. Identifies and manages regional/local tactical suppliers’ pool.
• Demonstrate ability to challenge status quo, proposes and runs projects that will add value to both Procurement and business functions.
• Achieve set procurement negotiation targets and KPIs, while ensuring alignment and compliance.
• Drive supplier selection processes in close cooperation with respective business partners to ensure best combination of quality, cost and service parameters / conditions for products and services are attained.
• Ensure business connectivity and foster collaborative business partnership with Local stakeholders.
• Apply best practices in procurement process management by utilizing latest models and takes necessary actions for areas of improvement.
• Assumes responsibilities for additional projects, tasks as assigned by his/her superior and shows professionalism in all aspects of work.

Requirements
• Minimum of a Diploma in Purchasing & Supply or any relevant field.
• At least 4 years of well-rounded experience and 2 years in procurement administration
• Experience in finance administration will be an added benefit
• Strong negotiation skills
• Proficient in MS Office, SAP or relevant local ERP knowledge a plus
• Strong communication, decision-making, inter-personal, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Accurate, structured, well-organized with strong attention to detail, pro-active, with strong sense of urgency and autonomous but team-oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in oral and written English.
