JOB DETAILS:
Umoyo seeks a dedicated Production and Quality Control Manager to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining product integrity, overseeing production processes, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Duties
• Oversee all aspects of the production processes to ensure seamless operations and adherence to production schedules.
• Develop and execute comprehensive production plans that align with business objectives and meet market demands.
• Design and implement new processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
• Ensure thorough inspection of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to maintain high quality standards.
• Accurately document and maintain records of tests, inspections, and certifications to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Prepare and present regular reports on production operations, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.
• Supervise and train production staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Work closely with the warehouse, logistics team, and other departments to ensure smooth coordination and efficient workflow.

Skills and qualifications
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in a Food and Beverage industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology or related field
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
• Certification in quality management systems (ISO 9001, HACCP) will be an added advantage.
