General Description
The Program Coordinator serves as the academic, fiscal, and administrative officer of the Bachelor of Human Resource Management program. The Program Coordinator reports to the Department Head for the School of Business & Law. The Program Coordinator is expected to be a visionary leader who will build on the department’s strengths to reach new levels of educational innovation and scholarly achievement and impact. The Coordinator will be a proven leader in the field with a distinctive record of achievement.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
• Engage in innovative curriculum and program development to meet the demands of a transforming Human Resource market.
• Work with faculty to create an academic, cultural, and physical environment conducive to scholarship, intellectual vitality, and learning.
• Establish and nurture a supportive, diverse work environment.
• Promote the inclusive Vision, Mission, and Values of the University as a Christ-centered institution through the activities and programs of the Department of Human Resource Management.
• Collaborate with other University administrators to ensure the well-being and success of the University and the School.
• Support the continuous improvement of the School of Business & Law through program review, assessment, and institutional accreditation.
Work Experience Requirements
• Minimum of three years’ experience and a distinctive record of achievement as an administrator and lecturer in a busy and diverse academic institution.
Education Requirements
• A Master’s degree in Human Resource Management.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management.
• All qualifications must be ZAQA validated.

• A demonstrated commitment to and record of serving students (understanding, listening, and being sensitive and responsive to their needs and concerns).
• Active participation in student activities and events that encourage social, professional, and intellectual growth and development.
• Understanding of the changing Human Resource Management market and the initiative to explore its implications for the structure of Human Resource Management education.
• Insight into how these implications impact both the Department of Human Resource Management and the field at large.
