JOB DETAILS:
• Itezhi Tezhi Power Corporation Limited (ITPC) is a Joint Venture Company owned by ZESCO Limited and The TATA Power Company (Pty) that built and operates the 120 Mega Watt Hydro Power Station on the Itezhi Tezhi Dam of the Kafue River in Itezhi Tezhi District.
• The Company seeks to recruit suitably qualified employees to fill up the following positions:

Project Coodinator For Corporate Social Responsibility (Csr) Projects
Reports to: The Power Station Manager

Principle Duties and Accountabilities
2.1 Develop and implement community development programs that align with the Company’s Corporate Social Responsibility goals. Identify opportunities for community partnerships, education and empowerment initiatives
2.2 Collaborate with experts to ensure that ITPC operates in an socially responsible manner. Monitor and report on the social impact of the project and implement measures to minimize negative effects
2.3 Undertake to represent ITPC on Corporate Social Responsibility related engagements with stakeholders
2.4 Develop and maintain CSR policies and guidelines for the Company.

Job Purpose
• Develop and implement Corporate Social Responsibility Policy, Strategies and Programs to ensure that the Company operates responsibly and sustainably within the community and environment it serves.
• Responsible for fostering positive relationships with stakeholders, addressing social concerns and contributing to the Company’s overall commitment to corporate citizenship.

Knowledge and Skills
a) Full Grade 12 certificate with Bachelor’s degree in any Social Science or related field
b) Post qualifying experience in corporate social responsibility, community development or related role.
c) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
d) Knowledge of local language
e) Ability to write reports
f) Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
g) Knowledge of relevant laws, Regulations and Industry Standards related to Corporate Social Responsibility
h) Strong understanding of sustainability principles and ethical business practices
