OYDC Zambia Sports Development Centre provides sport and community development opportunities for young people and underserved segments of the population from the surrounding communities. In our pursuit to fulfil the 2023–2028 Strategic Plan themed “Investing in Facilities to Support High Performance Sports”. OYDC Zambia is requesting quotations from registered firms to provide Gerflor wooden floor covering installation services as part of the renovation of sports facilities at the Centre.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) further specifies the specifications of all the information that the firms will need to provide a formal quote, as indicated below:

Scope:

Floor covering installation services for the multisport sports hall. Gerflor wooden floor covering material and accessories are on site, ready for installation. All labour, supervision, tools, equipment, transportation, fees, taxes, incidentals, and materials necessary to perform the above are to be included and provided by the contractor. The area size is 1,086.80 square metres.

Location:

The installation services will be undertaken in the multipurpose sports hall at the OYDC Zambia Sports Development Centre in Lusaka Province.

The contractor will be required to perform a quality and international standard job. This includes removing and carefully wrapping the existing rubber floor mat for reuse, and installing a new wooden Gerflor floor covering fit for international tournaments.

Prospective bidders are required to submit the following:

• A single quotation should include all fees, taxes, labour, and incidentals.
• Company Profile
• Registration/Incorporation Certificate from PACRA, or Registrar of Societies.
• Evidence of similar past, completed, or ongoing delivery works in the last 3 years.
• Tax clearance certificates from ZRA for the last two (2) years.
• Terms of payments.
