Job Purpose
• The Social Safeguard Specialist will be the lead expert on all Project social safeguard issues in accordance with Government policies/guidelines and World Bank policies/guidelines. S/he will be responsible for monitoring social risks already identified and identifying emerging risks. Working in liaison with other PIU members, the Social Safeguard Specialist will provide technical support to the Project on social risk management.
• While, the Environmental Specialist will be the lead expert on all Project Environment Safeguard issues in accordance with Government policies/guidelines and World Bank policies/guidelines. S/he will be responsible for monitoring environmental risks already identified and identifying emerging risks. Working in liaison with other PIU members, the Environmental Specialist will provide technical support to the Project on environmental risk management.
