JOB DETAILS:
In line with our corporate priorities aimed at ensuring optimization of revenue collection and increased tax compliance on one hand and the need to effectively manage the numerous challenges and opportunities in the fast-changing business environment on the other, we are seeking highly motivated, result-oriented, well-qualified and experienced professionals to fill the following vacant positions:

61.0 SENIOR DRIVER - GRADE ZRA08 (1 POSITION) – ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT

Reporting directly to Commissioner/Head Driver/Divisional Transport Coordinator- the job holder will be responsible for providing transport and logistical services to the Commissioners and ensure that set objectives and goals of ZRA are effectively and efficiently achieved.

A. MAIN DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Providing chauffer services to the Commissioners’ offices;
• Ensuring that vehicles are in proper working condition at all times through daily checking for oil and water and any defects to meet safety requirements and reporting any problems to the Head Driver;
• Carrying out assignments timely and updating log books for the Commissioner General’s vehicles every time;
• Ensuring that the vehicle is clean at all times;
• Assisting the head driver with the distribution of work to drivers;
• Working long hours including weekends, public holidays and be available on call if required; and
• Practicing punctuality and alertness.

B. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate or its equivalent;
• Valid Driver’s Licence Class C or better;
• Defensive Driving Certificate/Mechanical Certificate; and
• Minimum of five (5) years relevant post qualifying work experience.

• Honest and sober character
• Customer service orientation
• Principled and able to handle difficult assignments
