JOB DETAILS:
Summary Of Purpose Of The Job
To lead and implement all Human Resource initiatives, change Programmes and best practices that facilitate the effective utilisation of Company’s Human Resources and Capital in its endeavour to achieve its strategic goals and objectives, and providing advice to Senior Management across the entire panorama of HR activities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Policy Formulation: Formulating, reviewing and implementing all human resource policies, procedures, strategies, initiatives and action plans in line with the vision, mission and in line with the Strategic Objectives and priorities of the Company.
2. Human Resource Planning and Development: Effectively plans and develops all human resources and human capital of the Company, including managing the succession plans, to ensure that the Company has the right number of staff, with the right skills mix and placed in the right jobs at the right time.
3. Selection and Recruitment: Coordinates the recruitment and selection of staff to ensure that the Company attracts individuals with right skill and experience necessary to achieve business objectives and ensuring an outstanding recruitment and selection process experience for all Parties
4. Conditions of Service: Provides direction in the review and implementation of the Company’s conditions of service for all categories of staff, including management of payroll.
5. Performance Management: Develops and implements a forward-looking comprehensive performance management system to enhance the performance of the Company.
6. Industrial Relations: resolves industrial relations matters to promote industrial harmony and staff productivity in the Company
7. Employee Discipline: Ensures discipline through enforcement of the Disciplinary Code and Grievance Procedures for better coordination of operations and company productivity
8. Training and Development: Plans, executes, delivers, monitors and evaluates staff training and development programmes, and provides advice on training and development aimed at improving the competence of Company staff
9. Property Maintenance and Security Services: Oversees the maintenance of all company property, including supervising the provision of internal and outsourced security services
10. Records Management: Oversees the Company’s Central Registry and undertakes various other administrative services.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Grade 12 Certificate with a minimum of University-Entry Qualification Grades in Five (5) “O” levels, which must include Credits or Better in English and Mathematics.
2. First Degree in Human Resources Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Sciences such as Psychology or any other discipline related to Human Resources
3. Master Degree in any of the stated required fields of study will be an added advantage
4. Minimum of Seven (7) years’ traceable Relevant Experience with a least Five (5) of these Working Years in similar Senior Level Human Resource Positions in a Reputable Organization.
5. Valid Membership to the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management is a must for this position.
6. Preferred Age Limit: Not older than 46 Years Next Birthday

9. Ability to handle work pressure to meet targets and deadlines
10. Proven integrity, professionalism, accountability and innovation
11. SADC Driver’s License will be an added advantage,
