JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
The successful candidate will need to apply expert knowledge and experience to facilitate learning and coaching of service artisans and learners to develop competence in repairing, servicing and maintaining of Earthmoving Equipment and components to supplier standards and customer requirements:
Key Outputs include but are not limited to:
• Develop learners and facilitate artisan development
• Arrange and manage learning events
• Coach artisans
• Assess learners and artisans to comply with requirements
• Liaise with Regional TEVETA on learnership registration, contracts and grants
• Liaise with TEVETA regarding assessment, moderation and accreditation

Qualification, Experience, and Competencies
• Full Grade 12 Certificate
• Advanced Technician Certificate / Diploma in a Technical field (e.g. Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic) with minimum 8 years post registration / certification experience
• A qualification in Teaching Methodology
• Trouble shooting and problem solving skills
• Sound product knowledge,
• Technical Training Instructor experience is an added advantage
• Registered assessors accredited with TEVETA
• Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia
• Caterpillar (CAT) product knowledge base exposure- added advantage

Proven competencies:
• Demonstrated practical and theoretical learning facilitation skill
• Proven people management skills
• Coaching skills
• Computer Literate (MS Office & applicable caterpillar software applications such as SIS, STW, Flashnet and appropriate learning software)
• Effective business communication and presentation skills
• Clean Drivers’ license
