Position: Software Engineer

ITM Africa Ltd, an international company specializing in all HR solutions is currently supporting the recruitment of a Software Engineer on behalf of IREMBO is a technology company that designs and develops digital products focused on users in Africa, starting with Rwanda. IremboGov, Irembo’s pioneer product, is a government services platform. To date, it has 4.3M users in Rwanda and offers over 85 services online. Irembo is using this experience to develop a wide range of products

Role

Irembo’s Software Engineers develop technologies that change the way millions of people interact with digital services. As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to our products’ and Irembo’s success. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems and push our products forward. You will help us identify and fix issues to improve scalability, performance and the simplicity of our platform.

What you will do:

• Deeply understand requirements and develop to specification.
  
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and continuously improve the software.
  
• Manage individual feature priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  
• Collaborate and communicate continuously with other technical and non-technical teams.
  
• Champion engineering excellence by using universal development standards and ensure the team succeeds in delivering sprint after sprint.
  
• Any other tasks that may be assigned.
