JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary
The Stores Officer will oversee all stock-related activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials for Holland Greentech. This role is critical to ensuring an efficient supply chain, maintaining optimal stock levels, and producing accurate stock management reports. The Stores Manager will lead and implement best practices for inventory management to support the company’s growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory and Stock Management
2. Ensure accurate stock levels by regularly conducting inventory checks and reconciling discrepancies
3. Monitor stock movement, update stock levels, and oversee timely restocking to avoid shortages
4. Manage reordering processes to ensure stock availability aligns with business demands and forecasts
5. Receiving and Dispatching Goods
6. Supervise the receipt of goods, ensuring all shipments are in good condition and match purchase orders
7. Ensure accurate documentation for incoming and outgoing inventory, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes
8. Analyze stock movement and trends to provide insights and recommendations for improving stock control practices
9. Assist the finance and procurement teams with accurate data for audits, financial analysis, and decision-making
10. Collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to align stock management with business requirements
11. Foster a safe and compliant work environment by implementing safety protocols and ensuring staff adherence
12. Maintain storage conditions that align with company and regulatory standards, especially for sensitive or perishable items
13. Ensure that all stock areas are compliant with health, safety, and environmental guidelines

Team Management and Collaboration
1. Collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to align stock management with business requirements.
2. Foster a safe and compliant work environment by implementing safety protocols and ensuring staff adherence.
3. Quality Control and Compliance
4. Maintain storage conditions that align with company and regulatory standards, especially for sensitive or perishable items.
5. Ensure that all stock areas are compliant with health, safety, and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications
1. Minimum of a certificate in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
2. 2+ years of experience in stock or warehouse management, preferably in an agricultural or manufacturing setting
3. Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
4. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
5. Demonstrated experience in team leadership and management

Key Competencies
1. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze stock levels, movement trends, and generate reports that aid strategic decision-making.
2. Communication: Clear, professional communication for coordinating with various departments.
3. Problem-solving: Ability to identify issues in stock management processes and recommend effective solutions.
4. Leadership: Skilled at training, motivating, and guiding a team to maintain efficient stock management.
