ActionAid Zambia in partnership with the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development in Senga District is embarking on the construction of two 1X2CRBs named below at the Schools mentioned. It’s in this vein that the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development under Senga Hill Town Council invites interested bidders to participate in the following scope of work:

SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF ASSORTED BUILDING MATERIALS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF TWO 1X2 CLASSROOM BLOCKS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE FOLLOWING

1.     1X2 CLASSROOM BLOCK AT JOHN CHIKOMANGOMBE PRIMARY SCHOOL IN SENGA HILL DISTRICT.

2.     1X2 CLASSROOM BLOCK AT MUKUNTA PRIMARY SCHOOL IN SENGA HILL DISTRICT.

The following schedules shall be submitted with the bid:

1.     Company Registration Certificate (PACRA)

2.     Signed Letter of Bid

3.     Completed Schedules of goods/Completion period of supply

4.     Valid Tax Clearance Certificate

5.     Valid ZPPA certificate

6.      NCC for construction companies

7.     Evidence of similar works done before

NOTES:

1.     For supply and delivery of the assorted building materials, material schedules or inquiries shall be obtained from SENGA HILL TOWN COUNCIL Works department infrastructure section or preferably the BOQ can be downloaded here

2.     BIDDERS ARE ADVISED TO BID SEPARATELY FOR ALL ITEMS UNDER MUKUNTA OR JOHN CHIKOMANGOMBE.

3.     Bidding will be conducted through Simplified Bidding Procurement Method.

4.     Two (2) copies of the bid must be sent clearly indicating “tender for the supply and delivery of assorted building materials for 1X2CRB at John Chikomangombe Primary School or Mukunta Primary School to Senga Hill Town Council P.O Box 420175 addressed to the Council Secretary.

5.     Sealed bids in envelops must be deposited in the Tender Box situated at Council Office on or before Friday 14th June, 2024 at 10:00hrs local time.

6.     The closing date for the receipt of bids is Friday 14th June, 2024 at 10:00hours local time and any bids received after the above stipulated time will NOT BE ACCEPTED.

7.     The bids will be opened at 10:30hours local time at Council office in Senga in the presence of bidders or their representatives in attendance.

NOTE: The Projects are fully funded by ActionAid Zambia and hence being subjected to the ActionAid Zambia procurement conditions.
