Role Overview
• Aeiforia Tech Hub Enterprise is seeking a Tech Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Intern to support its R&D team in creating and implementing technology-based monitoring and evaluation systems. This role involves collecting, analysing, and reporting data to assess project performance, ensuring data-driven insights are effectively integrated into Aeiforia’s projects for maximum impact.
• The intern will work closely with project teams across Aeiforia’s initiatives in Public Health, Digital Financial Literacy, and Cultural Engagement, assisting in data collection, quality control, and reporting. This is an opportunity for individuals passionate about using technology and data analysis to support sustainable development and public benefit in Zambia.

Key Responsibilities:
• Data Collection and Analysis
• Design and implement data collection methods, using tools like surveys and digital data tracking systems.
• Compile, clean, and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of Aeiforia’s health, finance, and cultural initiatives.
• Monitoring Systems Development
• Develop and maintain dashboards and databases for real-time project tracking and progress visualization.
• Use tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Google Data Studio to create visuals that summarize key metrics.
• Reporting and Documentation
• Prepare M&E reports, summarizing data insights and trends across projects.
Document project milestones and maintain records to support Aeiforia’s data-driven impact assessment.
• Quality Control
• Conduct data quality checks, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements to data systems.
• Stakeholder Collaboration
• Work with project managers, tech teams, and other departments to share insights and ensure data-driven decision-making.

Skills and Competencies
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R) and familiarity with data visualization platforms like Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of M&E frameworks and digital data collection tools such as KoboToolbox or Google Forms.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to identify and interpret trends in data.
• Communication and Documentation
• Effective communication skills for reporting and sharing findings with a diverse team.
• Ability to present data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Organizational Skills
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills, with strong organizational abilities for record-keeping and data tracking.

Qualifications
• Background in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Prior experience or coursework in monitoring and evaluation, data collection, or data management is an advantage.
