Technical Marketing Officer
We are looking for a dynamic professional to drive brand awareness and create demand for OCZL products through engaging, face-to-face interac- tions with consumers. This role focuses on building strong, lasting relationships with stockists and end-consumers while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Location: Zambia
Minimum work experience: 4 Years
Skills & Requirements:
1. A Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, or a relevant field of study.
2. 4years’ experience in Sales and Marketing as a direct rep
3. Worked in Sales department, managing distribution in Agriculture related company and Agro-Chemicals based Company.
4. Experience in handling General Trade Line in Agriculture, Veteri-nary, Public Health or Industrial products.
5. Member of AIZ
Responsibilities
Business Understanding:
• Market Segmentation specific to geog- raphy, product, demand, competition and industry
• Wide knowledge of Zambian Agriculture – Crops and Livestock
• Aspects of Marketing – various strategies, promotions, campaigns and optimum use of marketing tactics

• Collect, Study and analyze data to infer the sales trends

• Efficiency in executing targets assigned
• Knowledge of Customer Relationship Man- agement (CRM) software

Critical Non-Negotiable attributes
• Minimum 4years of experience in Sales Department of a Manufacturing Company as a direct reportee to the Sales Head
• Degree or diploma in Agriculture or related field
• Motorbike driving license
Typical Tasks (indicative but not exhaustive)
• Roll out marketing calendar activities on a daily, weekly and monthly basis geared towards product demand creation
• Make proposals for marketing materials to be used for any campaign.
• Generate leads and coordinate with sales team to drive sales
• Keep abreast of industry trends, completion and new opportunities
• Link key stockiest to Distributors and Van sales team to ensure products are within the reach of end consumers
• Report weekly/monthly on the status of Field activities; a well-organized daily work schedule to roll out marketing calendars.
• Monitor the marketing activities on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and analyse further opportunities for awareness creations
• Conduct SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities & Threats) on a quarterly basis.
• Connect with the key distributors on a weekly basis for over-the-counter training, market intelligence, upward links with stockiest etc.
• Review monthly PJP by start of the respective month of execution with the TMO-TFE
• Plan for demo plots and monitor its progress.
• Attend Demos, Road Shows in the field, gather feedback.
