We are looking to recruit a Warehouse Manager for a client to see the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products.
Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

Responsibilities
• Supervise and manage all inventory activities, including receiving, storage, and dispatching of goods. Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accurate stock levels and reduce discrepancies.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile physical counts with system records. Prepare and present regular reports on inventory levels, order fulfilment, and warehouse performance to senior management.
• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including organizing storage areas, managing warehouse layout, and ensuring efficient use of space.
• Ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of orders, coordinating with the procurement/logistics team to schedule shipments and deliveries.
• Implement best practices for warehouse processes, including optimizing workflows and minimizing downtime.
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure staff adhere to safety and operational guidelines. Foster a positive working environment and provide ongoing support and motivation to the team.

Qualifications
• Inventory and Staff Management experience
• Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3-5 years in a similar position
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
• Leadership skills and ability manage staff
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Holder of a valid driver’s license
