Position Summary
• The Manager of Program will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of various public health programs within the organization. The Manager will work closely with the senior management team to develop and implement strategies that ensure successful execution of programs and meet the organization’s objectives. The Manager will also be responsible for managing a team of Program Officers and ensuring effective communication and collaboration within the team.

Responsibilities/Deliverables/Job Duties
• You will develop and implement program implementation plans that align with the organization’s strategic objectives.
• You will oversee the implementation of public health programs, including program planning, budgeting, and monitoring and evaluation.
• You will manage a team of Program Officers, providing guidance, support, and performance management.
• Youi will monitor program implementation progress and ensure that program activities are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
• You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration within the organization.
• You will collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to ensure that program implementation aligns with their goals and objectives.
• You will identify and address any issues or challenges that arise during program implementation and make recommendations for improvement.
• You will develop and implement strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of program implementation and make recommendations for improvement.

• As a Manager of Program you will be required to identify issues or challenges that arise during program implementation and develop effective solutions. • As a Manager of Program you will have a significant degree of independence in their role, but will also be required to work closely with the senior management team to ensure that program implementation aligns with the organization’s strategic objectives.

Knowledge & Application
• You will have a deep understanding of public health programs and their implementation, as well as experience managing teams and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. The Manager should also have knowledge of budgeting, monitoring and evaluation, and program planning and implementation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience in program implementation or project management, with a focus on public health.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
• Experience managing teams and providing guidance and support to team members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop effective solutions.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
