Location: UP Zambia Office, Lusaka
Duration: 6 months
Duties
- System Support and Maintenance: Assist with troubleshooting, maintenance, and updates for our case management system, Helpline System, HR system, and Microsoft 365 suite.
- Technical Assistance: Provide technical support to staff members, helping them resolve software and hardware issues related to organizational systems.
- User Training and Support: Help onboard new users to internal systems, providing training and documentation as necessary to ensure smooth system adoption.
- System Testing & Documentation: Assist in testing new features and updates to organizational systems, ensuring their functionality and reliability. Document processes, issues, and solutions for future reference.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide relevant technical solutions.
- HR System Assistance: Help with the HR system by supporting staff queries related to HR-related functions such as leave applications, and other employee information systems.
Key Requirements & Attributes
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, MS Teams, and MS Admin Centre.
- Basic understanding of case management systems (prior experience a plus).
- General knowledge of IT troubleshooting and support for both hardware and software.
- Basic knowledge of data security principles and practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
- Strong commitment to social justice.
