About the Job
The Head - Inclusive insurance is responsible primarily to provide results-oriented leadership in designing, implementing and managing interventions aimed at increasing access to insurance for low-income households and individuals. The Head is expected to be an expert in inclusive insurance products and services for urban and rural households. He/she is responsible for providing oversight, coordination and management of the conceptualization, programming and implementation of all-inclusive insurance interventions. This position reports directly to FSD Zambia's Director Financial Service Supply and is a technical expert role in market facilitation for developing an inclusive insurance market in Zambia. The role requires the Head to manage an agreed technical portfolio and is mainly responsible for FSD Zambia's Inclusive Insurance project: thematic area which involves a partnership relationship management: b) funding process design and c) project process management and accountability. The portfolio is indicative and additional responsibilities might be assigned to this role as per FSD Zambia needs. .

Qualifications and Experience
• Master's degree in Insurance, Economics. International Development, Development Economics, and or Business Administration
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in facilitation the development of Insurance service markets:
• Strong management capabilities with excellent track record of providing organisational and leadership support to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of projects:
• Excellent interpersonal, networking and negotiation skills with staff, stakeholders and partners with motivation for high quality service delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to conceptualise and drive design successful implementation and monitoring of programmes that focus on inclusive insurance.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate creativity for inclusive service and products delivery for the target market.
• Demonstrated ability to package insights for purpose of programme adaptation and improvement
