Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
• Lead the board in setting the strategic direction of the National Health Board.
• Ensure alignment with national health policies and priorities.
• Promote a forward-thinking approach to healthcare innovation, equity, and sustainability.
2. Governance and Oversight
• Preside over board meetings, ensuring effective decision-making and adherence to governance frameworks.
• Oversee the development and implementation of policies and initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
3. Stakeholder Engagement
• Act as the primary representative and spokesperson for the National Health Board.
• Foster relationships with government officials, healthcare providers, and community leaders.
• Advocate for public health priorities and resource allocation.
4. Performance Monitoring
• Evaluate the performance of the board and senior leadership in achieving health outcomes.
