Accounts Assistant – Receivables
Overview
Zambia Seed Company Limited (ZAMSEED) is an agricultural input provider operating in Zambia and selected SADC/COMESA countries. Its main objective is to develop, produce and market high quality seed of all agricultural as well as horticultural crops of major importance.
The company is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the position of Accounts Assistant – Receivables (Temporary)

A. Responsibilities
• Recording of business transactions (sales, expenses, receipts, and payments) in the accounting system
• Performing bank account reconciliations on a periodic basis
• Performing monthly debtor reconciliations
• Liaising with credit customers and making follow-ups on outstanding amounts due
• Drafting key monthly sales & debtors’ reports for review by the supervisor
• Filing accounting records
• Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

B. Minimum Qualifications & Experience
• Must have successfully completed ACCA/ZICA/CIMA Level 2 or should have an Accounting Degree
• 2 years’ work experience in a similar role
