JOB DETAILS:

Call customers on birthdays, special days, for follow-up
Source new customers
1. Existing fragrance customer
Introduce existing fragrance customer to 3 axe
Collate customer information
Book customer for a consultation on 3 axe.
Follow up on booking

2. Sourcing a new makeup customer
Establish rapport
Identify customer needs
Link needs to brands
Introduce customer to DG Cosmetics by doing a skin analysis on the customer.
Sample new customers from other luxury brands to introduce them to DG cosmetics.
Record customer details on the app
Manage Stock
Assess current stock levels
Physically count stock on hand
Enter data on stock control sheet
Access system (e.g. Retek) and compare stock on hand to stock on system
Compare SOH vs. model stock
Complete out-of-stock template
Keep a copy on file, provide copy to store manager and fax a 3rd to Area Manager
Suggest an order to AM for approval.
Identify and rectify any discrepancies on the ordering system
Confirm SKU availability with ASCO warehouse
Communicate order to AM
Obtain order number
Report on slow selling items and provide action plan to move.
Report any data integrity issues to AM
Ensure stock of all key sellers (AA, A, B SKU’s)
Ensure customer stock requests are taken into consideration when placing orders to model.
Follow-up order
Merchandise stock
Compare delivered stock to invoice
Inform Area Manager of discrepancies
Draw stock from stock room and move to counter
Unpack stock
Price stock
Secure security tags for all stock
Merchandise stock according to planograms and merchandising standards.
Ensure effective housekeeping
Ensure shelves and counters are dust-and stain free at close of business
Ensure all tools are hygienically clean at close of business
Ensure counters are clean and spill- free at the end of each session
Ensure all price stickers are accurate
Ensure shelf-talkers displayed with correct stock
Ensure counters cleaned with the correct cleaning materials
Ensure testers are clean and all make up stand is polished
Ensure dummys/testers are clean and in place
Plan for Efficiency
Draft monthly plans
Consider scheduled in-store promotions
Obtain monthly target from Counter Manager
Compare sales performance, activities and lessons learnt in current month of previous year and incorporate in the planning process
Implement monthly plan as communicated by the counter manager
Drive unit sales
Plan make-over’s and events for the month
Draft weekly plans
Consult monthly plan
Consider sales performance of previous week
Formulate strategies and plans to compensate for short-fall in sales in new week
Identify specific strategies and plans to achieve weekly sales target
Obtain approval from in-store manager and AM for strategies and plans
Update and implement weekly plan
Communicate events with make up artists.
Confirm bookings and follow up with customers.
Draft daily plans
Consult weekly plans
Confirm scheduled activities and resource availability
Identify short-falls of previous day and update daily sales targets
Formulate strategies and plans to achieve sales targets
Implement scheduled promotions and events
Identify high sales periods per day
Ensure counters are staffed for busy hours and sales are maximized
Implement daily plans
Ensure tea and lunch breaks have been scheduled for the day
Customer Eventing
