JOB DETAILS:
ZCCP is a not-for-profit, locally based multi-media communications organization, which uses the power of the mass media (radio, TV and print) and social mobilisation to reach the Zambian population and to affect social and behavior change is looking to recruit for the position of Human Resource Officer and IT Technician (Junior Positions). We use a rigorous formative research process to generate appropriate edutainment content relevant to health and development priorities in Zambia.
At community level we work with girls, boys, women, and men, persons with disabilities, key and priority populations. At policy level, we work with National Assembly of Zambia, House of Chiefs and other Traditional Leaders, Religious Leaders and various goverment ministries and National AIDS Council. ZCCP is a Principle Recipient implementing the USAID Stop GBV Project in selected priority area of Zambia. We also implement the ZCHPP and CHIV projects as a Sub-grantee of PACT. IT Technician Station - National Office (Lusaka) Reporting lines:
• Senior Finance and Administrative Manager
• The duties of the IT Technician will be and not limited to the following:
• Provide overall supervision for high quality Information
• Technologies running of the organization install and maintain computer systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality:
• Provide orientation and guidance to users of the systems to make appropriate and safe usage of the IT infrastructure;
• Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.); Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications: Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule;
• Verify functionality of hardware and software components Offer daily operations and systems support to personnel; Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance; and Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely

Qualification
• Full Grade twelve 12 Certificate, Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 3+ years' experience in computer networks and systems maintenance.
• Certification from CCNA, MCSE and ICDL added advantage. Affiliation with Computer Society of Zambia, EIZ, ICTSZ or any recognized institution.
