JOB DETAILS:
Marketing Intern
Keno Institute of Training and Research is looking for a passionate marketing intern to assist with the day-to-day marketing activities and campaigns.
Location: Lusaka

Internship Purpose
To support the institute in raising the visibility of our vision and mission by carrying out an effective marketing and communications plan to:
• attract new clients across the institute’s portfolio of programmes and services
• publicise the strengths of our programs and services
• promote the profile of the Institute to external audiences

Duties/Responsibilities Include:
a) Website and other e-marketing communications
• creating content for a monthly newsletter to be circuited to internal and external audiences
• Updating the institute’s Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter accounts
• Updating information about the institute on external websites and directories
• Creating fresh and up-to-date web content, to pass to the Keno Institute Web Development/IT Officer as necessary
• Proposing ideas and input into the development of new eMarketing materials and strategies
b) Marketing materials
• Writing and producing marketing material (brochures, posters, flyers etc) for the Institute’s programmes and services
• Sourcing testimonials from Keno’s network of clients
• Preparing PowerPoint presentations for prospective clients
• Selection and ordering of promotional merchandise for use as corporate gifts
• Managing the stock of all marketing collateral i.e., brochures; creating systems to identify when stock needs to be replenished
• Other duties as assigned by the Keno Institute administrative manager

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Required:
• Minimum of a Diploma in marketing from a recognized college or University
• Member of the Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM)
• Excellent organisational and project management skills
• Excellent communication skills, including high standards of written communication, grammar, and spelling
