JOB DETAILS:
Set Apart International is looking for a suitably qualified individual to fill the role of Purchasing and Supplies Officer for Adaptive Leadership Zambia, which is a project working with the Ministry of Health to reduce new HIV/AIDS infections amongst adolescents using the Adaptive Leadership methodology. This role will run from November 2022 to December 2023.

Qualifications and Experience
• Full grade 12 certificate with credit or better.
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing & Supply.
• Member of the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supplies with a valid Practicing license.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in procurement management in a similar role.

Summary Job Description
• Organizing and maintaining of procurement records.
• Preparation of procurement plans to ensure timely delivery of goods and Services critical for the successful implementation of organizational goals and objectives.
• Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationship with suppliers, to ensure quality and cost effective supplies are procured.
• Evaluating proposals and quotations received and making suitable recommendations to management.
• Preparation of procurement reports to Management with recommendations on gaps identified in order to improve service delivery.
• Monitoring compliance with the relevant procurement laws and regulations in order to reduce exposure to risks associated with noncompliance.
• Monitoring the movement of orders from approval to delivery of goods or services to Stores or end-users.
• Inventory management & Checks.
• Providing support to the Finance and Admin team in preparation of budgets, contacting suppliers, and making necessary adjustments.
