Farm Manager
Overview
Mkambo Farms Limited is seeking to employ a Farm Manager to spearhead operations for its farm in Chisamba. It’s a mixed farm with both Livestock and cropping. The farm has also opened up a Dairy unit and the manager being sought should have the relevant experience to manage the dairy herd among the livestock enterprises, which are Beef and Piggery. Those interested to apply should possess the following qualifications and experience;
• A minimum of a Diploma in Agriculture and/or Animal Science
• A qualification in Dairy Production will be an advantage
• At least 5 years experience in managing a dairy herd, especially Friesians
• Capable of managing both Beef and Pig Production
• Capable of managing the production of crops such as Wheat, maize, and Soya beans
• Should also be able to manage pasture
• Knowledge of animal diseases and nutrition will also be an advantage

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: Associate Degree
