Description
• We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance professional to join our team in the Hospitality industry. As a Maintenance team member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall cleanliness and functionality of our property. You will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing various equipment and facilities to provide a safe and pleasant environment for our guests and staff.

Responsibilities
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment, facilities, and guest rooms to identify and address maintenance issues promptly
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and painting walls
• Repair or replace faulty equipment and fixtures, ensuring they are safe and in working order
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and colleagues, providing excellent customer service
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and preventive maintenance schedules
• Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers for specialized repairs and installations
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues, and guests
• Assist with the general upkeep of the property, including landscaping

Requirements
• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Member of Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ)
• Proven experience in maintenance work, preferably in a hospitality setting
• Excellent knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and fix equipment malfunctions
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests, colleagues, and contractors
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects
• Basic computer skills
