Background
AOS LTD is a Service Provider that was established from the Joint Venture between the Government of Rwanda and Korea Telecom and is incorporated under the laws and regulations of the Republic of Rwanda. The company is engaged in the business of providing advanced Information and Communication Technology (“ICT”) services based on a state-of-the-art Data Center, System development and Integrations, e-Government projects implementation and Consulting among others.
In order to effectively accomplish its business objectives, AOS Ltd is looking for qualified and competent candidates to support its business operation.
Position: Senior Network Engineer
Roles and Responsibilities
The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for managing the company network facility through understanding network topology and configuring Cisco network equipment.
• Design and implement network setup
• Configure customer VLAN
• Collaborate with all network connectivity partner to setup networks
• Maintain documentation of all networking asset and design
• Reporting to line manager in a timely fashion
• Backup and restore network configuration
• Carry out maintenance routine activities
• Manage licensing and support contracts with vendors
• Perform related duties and responsibilities as required by line manager
Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following skill sets:
• At the least, have more than 3 years of experience in network administration and management,
• Having worked in an enterprise company setting
• Having good working attitude and communication skills.
• Having a spirit of innovation and initiative
• Being able to work under high stress and stay focus
• Respectful to policies and procedures and honest in his dealings
Education/ Experience
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in IT related field.
• And should have at least 3 years of progressive experience in IT related facilities.
