JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
Acquisition and management of sites and facilities as per Airtel policies and guidelines and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Core Responsibilities Are:
• • Sites and Retail Shops Landlord Management in conjunction with relevant stakeholders
• • To ensure speedy and timely completion of negotiations and signing of leases for sites and shops with confirmed LLs to achieve the business target in sites acquisition
• • To Provide internal customer support to Finance on matters related to site rental payments and other mandatory and regulatory fees
• • To prepare monthly Performance reports and dashboards for Opco and Group SCM from time to time
• • To Track the monthly utilization of approved Capex and Opex.
• • Project management and monitoring of site/shop buildings
• • To coordinate with representatives of Site/Shop Build Vendors on conducting timely surveys and other logistical support
• • To ensure regulatory & statutory compliance in line with ZEMA, municipal/city councils and other government regulations and requirements relating to all processes and transactions
• • Contract & Facilities Management in the Growth Market through monitoring and supervising maintenance and repairs of all retail shops
• • To ensure timely completion of work projects within set timelines, quality and budget by vendor contractors

Requirements
Relevant Experience & Functional / Technical Skills:
• • Degree in Real Estate Management, Land Economy, Urban & Regional Planning, Facilities Management, Building Science or any related field
• • Be a member of Zambia Institute of Valuation Surveyors
Relevant Experience:
• • Over 2 to 3 years’ experience in busy multinational environment
• • Experience in Telecom sector is an added advantage

Other Requirements
• • Functional knowledge of real estate and facilities management
• • Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders
• • Ability to handle team under work pressure and getting the right output under work pressure
• • Fair understanding of land laws and regulations
