JOB DETAILS:

In-depth knowledge of welding machinery and electrical equipment. Your responsibilities will include reading and interpreting designs, monitoring machinery, and assessing welded components.

Key Responsibilities
• Fabrication of Cleats
• Fabrication of Purlings and Drilling
• Fabrication of Sag Angles
• Sandblasting and Paint of Fabricated Steel
• Installation of Fabricated Steel Members
• Installation of Roofing Sheets
• Housekeeping

Additional Responsibilities
• Ensure statutory compliance at all times and conduct standard procedure task inspections.
• Ensure that all maintenance, manufacturing, installation, repairs, and projects are completed to craft standards and carried out safely and efficiently to ensure maximum reliability and uptime.
• Meet set work targets for daily work group activities in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
• Achieve results through prioritizing activities, monitoring progress, and holding yourself accountable for the results.
• Motivate yourself and others to overcome obstacles and achieve goals.
• Plan and assist in laying out work for new projects.
• Ensure maximum plant availability and efficiency at all times.
• Demonstrate the ability to work with other disciplines to achieve minimal disruption to plant operating times.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience
• Full Grade 12 certificate.
• Craft Certificate in Metal Fabrication.
• Must be a member of EIZ.
• Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
