JOB DETAILS:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise, hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAGE or SAP, and a solid background in financial reconciliations, asset management and payments processing.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform bank and supplier reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Maintain the asset register, ensuring proper accounting and periodic verification of assets.
• Manage petty cash transactions, ensuring proper documentation and accountability.
• Prepare payment schedules and process online bank postings in line with company policies.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, regulatory bodies, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards, financial regulations, and internal controls.
• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
• Provide input into process improvements and financial system enhancements.

Qualifications & Experience
• Full professional qualification in CIMA, ACCA, or CA Zambia (ZICA membership is mandatory).
• 3-5 years of work experience, preferably in a service industry.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAGE, SAP, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge and experience in financial operations, including reconciliations, payments, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
