JOB DETAILS:
Responsibilities
1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
Facilitates and participates in the recruitment and selection process according to set policies and procedures
Contribute to the development of onboarding programs for new hires.
2. Employee Engagement:
Collaborate with the HR team to create and implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement.
Assist in organizing events and activities to foster a positive workplace culture.
3. HR Administration:
Ensures that all personnel files are updated at all times including ensuring that all labour laws requirements are adhered to.
Support daily HR operations, including Monitoring leave accruals and tracking all leave taken monthly. Record-keeping, documentation, and maintaining employee files.
Contribute to the development and improvement of HR processes.
4. Learning and Development:
Assist in organizing training sessions and workshops for employee skill development.
Contribute to the creation of learning materials and resources.

Preferred Qualities
(a) Minimum Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
(b) Good understanding of labour laws.
(c) Strong interpersonal and team building skills.
(d) Exceptional planning and time management skills, and ability to multitask with ease, adapting to frequently changing priorities.
(e) Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to make a presentation
(f) Good negotiating and conflict resolution skills.
(g) Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality concerning employees and employee records.
(h) Competence using common desktop applications and internal systems.
Location: Kitwe (Residents of Kitwe preferred)
